Duties of CSA Delegates and Alternate Delegates
Annual Meeting
Delegates and Alternate Delegates are expected to:
- Attend and actively participate in the Reference Committee(s) and the House of Delegates meetings at the Annual Meetings
- Assure that a full voting district delegation is present for the House of Delegates
- Actively bring forward the issues of their constituents to the Reference Committee(s) and the House of Delegates via resolutions (The Speaker and Vice-Speaker are available to assist in formatting)
- Testify at the Reference Committee(s) and the House of Delegates on the resolution(s) from their constituents
- Report back to their constituents on local issues of concern and on the actions of the House of Delegates
During the Year
Delegates and Alternate Delegates are expected to:
- Assist their District Directors in local projects as necessary
- Bring constituent issues forward to the District Directors for possible discussion at interim Board meetings
- Report to constituents on Board actions
- Assist in the implementation of CSA policies as adopted by the Board and the House of Delegates
- Make their Directors aware of personal or constituent interest in areas of service to CSA
- Contact the Speaker of the House of Delegates prior to December 31 if you wish to serve on the Reference Committee(s) at the next Annual Meeting.
- Support GASPAC and attend CSA Legislative Day
- Support ASAPAC
- Attend at least one Board meeting per year
