Duties of CSA Delegates and Alternate Delegates

Annual Meeting

Delegates and Alternate Delegates are expected to:

1. Attend and actively participate in the Reference Committee(s) and the House of Delegates meetings at the Annual Meetings
2. Assure that a full voting district delegation is present for the House of Delegates
3. Actively bring forward the issues of their constituents to the Reference Committee(s) and the House of Delegates via resolutions (The Speaker and Vice-Speaker are available to assist in formatting)
4. Testify at the Reference Committee(s) and the House of Delegates on the resolution(s) from their constituents
5. Report back to their constituents on local issues of concern and on the actions of the House of Delegates

During the Year

Delegates and Alternate Delegates are expected to:

1. Assist their District Directors in local projects as necessary
2. Bring constituent issues forward to the District Directors for possible discussion at interim Board meetings
3. Report to constituents on Board actions
4. Assist in the implementation of CSA policies as adopted by the Board and the House of Delegates
5. Make their Directors aware of personal or constituent interest in areas of service to CSA
6. Contact the Speaker of the House of Delegates prior to December 31 if you wish to serve on the Reference Committee(s) at the next Annual Meeting.
7. Support GASPAC and attend CSA Legislative Day
8. Support ASAPAC
9. Attend at least one Board meeting per year
