California law now requires that every physician* licensed prior to 2003 complete 12 credit hours in pain management and end-of-life care by the end of 2006. Each module available fulfills one AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ toward that requirement. This program is intended for all licensed physicians, including anesthesiologists, residents, and physicians with an interest in pain management.

Physicians licensed after 2002 have four years to complete the 12 CME credits required to satisfy Assembly Bill 487.
